I can relate to this so intensely. I am agender, however, I was also raised and socialized as a woman. I cannot divorce the two. My gender identity is about who I am internally, but my experiences are rooted in being labeled and treated as a woman.

I love this! We do not have to reject our bodies and our pasts and our realities in order to appease other people's ideas of nonbinary 🫶

I really relate to this, especially having been entrenched in the public health system my entire life.

I've been through times of believing that I should hold more importance to having my genderless identity reflected in my medical records, but I have recently started to realise that it doesn't actually matter because my lack of attachment to gender is who I am on the inside and the only thing that really matters is how I feel, regardless of how others view me or refer to me. 🤟

I so appreciate your writing and especially your viewpoint… while I’m struggling with outside influences as well as my own internal discomfort, I’m focusing on getting up each day before it’s gone and doing my best to learn each day… thank you 🙏 glad you’re here…

Honing in on the internal is the most important part. It’s ongoing, and you’re doing the best you can. You’ve got this.

Thank you, I just hope I’ve got enough time left to get to that comfort level… one day at a time !
